and Robert Stephenson's Britannia bridge of 1850

Are you interested in

The exhibition includes artefacts from both bridges, original bridge designs, the story of shipping in the Straits, the commercial development of Menai Bridge and memorabilia from local residents. There is also information concerning the wildlife and environmental significance of the Straits.

Arranging Heritage Walks and Bridge Exhibition Visits for Groups -
It is possible to arrange heritage walks and visits to the Bridges exhibition for local schools, groups and visiting parties at any time during the year.

Exhibition opening for the summer!
We will be opening on Monday 16 June through to Friday 3 October
10am - 4pm closed Saturdays
OPENING TIME MONDAY 16TH JUNE 11AM
Please note due to providing School workshops for Careers Wales the exhibition opening times will change to
2.30pm - 4.30pm on the following days:
Tues 17 Wed 18 June
Thurs 11 Tues 16 September
Also we will be closed all day on 24th June so that work can be carried out on the exhibition
